The bear is going up against a pirate and his monkey in this  Family Film Festival.

My wife, my oldest boy, and I drove out on Friday and enjoyed an evening of animation in SF.  I had fun chatting with an animator from the Toy Story/Bugs Life days of Pixar.  Also, found out today the bear took Best in Show 🙂

The Bear did well in London and was selected to play in an animation showcase in SF this weekend!

 Top Shorts Winner – Best Animation: Catching the L Train, directed by Eric Raingruber (Sprocketless Animation).

A bear attempts to save his relationship before his love leaves town for good. But when a bungled text message leads him to the wrong train platform and his sweetheart to draw the wrong conclusion, he must risk life and limb to try and win her back.

Honored to have the bear be the opening film at the Park City International Festival!

We won’t fly to Moscow for that festival but we will probably attend the Seal Beach Film Festival in July. Still, it will be fun to find out what Russians think of the bear!
